You take it lightly, but these dams hold back giant reservoirs of

dihydrogen monoxide, a known LETHAL agent of which we've heard recently (a

small fraction of just one reservoir, if distributed evenly to the lungs,

could cause the death of everyone in the world!).  Damage to a dam would

cause this poison to leak downstream for miles, probably all the way to our

earth's oceans.  Who knows what would happen after that?
