Re: Fwd: [Know_Nukes] Sr-90--->The cancer time bomb facing Scots born during ColdWar

Jim, this news item raises more questions than it can begin to answer. It seems to be an attempt by the newspaper to sensationalize a supposed event

and to play on nuclear fears and emotions. Is this news item the first public communication or is it anywhere in the scientific literature?

How was it known that the contamination peaked in 1964 if the study was still in progress or completed before 1964?

What should exposed people worry about or do when it is said to be to late to do anything about it?

For those exposed, what are the consequences already found? What cancer levels and genetic damage has been found in these folks?

How was the study an influence on or reason for introducing the 1963 Test Ban Treaty? If it was covert, how was it even known at that time?
