Oh heavens, i wish I'd never brought it up.  Yes, he told me.  No, I didn't "check up on him."  He is a terrific dentist, very modern, always ready to explain his up-to-date techniques (which I am always interested in, as a physical chemist).  If you lived in New Mexico you would understand that the certification boards here do strange things ( e.g., the legislature just told the medical board to license psychologists to prescribe drugs; e.g.(2) physician's assistants can prescribe drugs and treament with no M. D. oversight; e.g. (3) some medical insurance plans here pay for treatment by Native American healers).  PLEASE do not comment on the last (I am not making any judgments), or don't annoy RADSAFE with any comments and just ream me out by private email if you want to.
