RE: A LNT Experience !!NOT!!
You're also wrong on "dentist responsibility." They have, and need, no
radhealth effects knowledge, and little of doses, beyond what's "written on
the box." They, nor MDs, know little more than the literate public about
radiation, and most even go so far as to believe the crap put out by the
regulatory agencies and their NCRP 'fellows.'
An anecdote on the MD knowledge of radiological health effects knowledge.
A house I bought in SE NM was filled with toxic molds, (unknown at the
time of purchase), and for 2 years my family and myself had many different
medical problems. After finding out about the mold problem and leaving the
house we went through medical screenings. A physician I went to for
pulmonary problems jumped on a diagnosis of (radiation inhaled constituents)
causing my loss of pulmonary function. This diagnosis was reached after I
told him I had worked at DOE, NRC and DOD nuclear sites since 1974. The Dr.
refused to change the diagnosis even when I informed him that part of my job
for that time period was to ensure that personnel did not inhale "radiation
constituted heavy metals", and I would have been the first to know about any
inhalation problems. Long story short, turned out to be caused by molds
that are permanently in my lungs, but this came from another specialist.

I alone am to blame for my statements.
