Re: June 2002 Health Physics TOC
It would be appropriate to reprint Taylor's 1980 treatise that states that
"the use of the LNT is an immoral use of our scientific heritage."
Four years ago he reaffirmed his views, and his concern about NCRP's support
of the LNT. He wouldn't speak out because of the institutional loyalty he
felt to the NCRP - a loyalty that is clearly no longer deserved.
Sinclair doing his "appreciation" is distressing, as the most immoral LNT
advocate and destroyer of NCRP as a science organization. NCRP's current
incarnation is on a downward spiral, with credible scientists disparaging
it, and increasingly unwilling to serve.
Perhaps Tenforde can bring science back, though people who know more about
current machinations don't seem to have much hope.
