Re: Response to former Senator Bob Kerrey

I would like first to thank all the people who complimented me on my response to former Senator Kerrey.  I sent him a copy with a sort of "I am for real and not a nut case" cover email (his email, by the way, that I found on the Web, is kerreyb@newschool.edu), and I actually got a response today.  I don't feel right posting the response, but I will cite two points from it:


1.  He (or the staff person who wrote the letter) says that he started to worry much more about SNF transportation after September 11 than before.


2.  He claims that DOE is "keeping under wraps" a new method for spent fuel disposal or management that would keep the spent fuel at each site since it could be implemented at each site.  Does anyone out there know what he is referring to?
