Fortunately for German or Austrian anti-Temelin protesters (who like to block these border crossings), this incident did not coincide with one of their events.....
Expect to see comments from antis & the media like "see -- it could have been radioactive material..." (but of course no demands to block EU accession unless the use of chemicals is stopped !)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Czech - German border crossing of Cinovec in the Teplice region in north
Czech Republic was evacuated on Thursday, after authorities discovered a
German truck in the area leaking a highly volatile chemical. The Czech -
German crossing was fully closed off, while Czech border officials relocated
to another customs crossing. German fire-fighting teams and emergency
clean-up crews have been busy at the scene trying to remove the dangerous
substance.
