Neither of these seem to have the audible chirp rate that is essential to monitor the levels of radiation that radiographers contend with.  They will alarm, but that would be a problem for radiographers.  What you need is the ability to make the radiation field audible so you can hear the source and judge its intensity as it it deployed and returned to the shield.  Then a quick swipe around the front of the shield with the chirper to be sure it is returned all the way and you are done.  Now do your survey.
