Radon dose conversion factor
Dear radsafers,
There was a conversion factor of 1mSv/y per 20 Bq/m3 radon concentration
quoted from NRPB(Exposure to Radon daughters in dwellings, 1987).Are there
any dose conversion factors calculation for radon other than this figure? I
am in search of the radon and radon progenies dose calculation in different
parts of the lung.
I also came to a difficulty when applying table 12- aerodynamic particle
deposition of ICRP 66 (pg 43) that region BB of the lung has assymmetry of
deposition parameter in [inhalation] path and [exhalation] path which seems
to be not reasonable for me!
Thank you for any help in this topic.
