OSHA Respirator Questionnaire
I realize that this is slightly off topic, but wish to provide a reality
check for those who may have come to think that the NRC has a monopoly
on nonsensical regulations.
As part of the OSHA respiratory protection program (29 CFR 1910.134), a
prospective respirator user is required to complete a questionnaire, as
specified in Appendix C to 1910.134, "OSHA Respirator Medical Evaluation
Questionnaire (Mandatory). The first question is, "Can you read (circle
one): Yes/No"
It's comforting to know that the government thinks of everything.
