Sandy Perle's latest news post and paranoia
The following, albeit a novel, is certainly why ordinary people worry. As I
think I've mentioned, Cambria is one of my favorite haunts. Diablo Canyon
is about 35 miles SSE of Cambria--and there are warning/evacuation sirens
south of Cambria (but I don't recall seeing them in the town).
It doesn't take a too fertile imagination to let something like this seem
like a real possibility. Sure, it's only a novel....
While a tsunami is probably more likely, this can still be scary. Thanks
again for the education. I'll not be scared. I won't buy the book. I won't
mention it to my family.
Cheers,
Richard
