cartoon

Political cartoon in last night's Nashville newspaper (the Tennessean)

(regarding a proposed uranium-enrichment plant that may locate in

Hartsville, Tenn, for which there was the usual NIMBY response from local

residents):

Two men reading a newspaper with the headline "Uranium plant may be built in

Hartsville"

One man says "I'm getting sick and tired of trying to calm the public's

irrational fear of th' nuclear industry."

View changes to behind the paper, you see that it is really only one man

with two heads. The other says:

"Me, too. Let's just go back home to Chernobyl."
