Subject: Radioactive vinegar bottle Analysis results

Hi-
If you've been following the thread on the 1939 World's Fair  vinegar bottle, you might like to know the result of the  X-Ray Fluorescence analysis I have done.....      The following results were taken on an EDAX Eagle lll XRF spectrometer....

Element                % by weight
Na                        1.13%
Al                        8.55%
Si                        79.29%
K                        9.57%
Ca                        0.83%
U                        0.17%

The other half percent was distributed among Sr, Ti, Fe,and S.

If I understand some of the other comments on this topic,  the Uranium content at about .17%  may qualify this piece for Regulatory Concern.  The whole bottle  weighs 19 oz,    anyone care to speculate about whether I need to license this
fine relic?       And what about the poor fellow ( not me!) who's still trying to sell his on ebay for  $24  ????   Does he need a distribution license?   There is no cap on my bottle, does that make it an unsealed source?   Uh Oh, there's a knock on the door!!!
