Re: "Limit to Survival - Effect of Radiation

John,

You are correct in that, if we are to improve the "Limit to Survival - Effect of

Radiation" (topic), persons with only high school science must understand their

benefit from some supplemental alpha, x, and or gamma radiation. So I check my

postings with my medical assistant. They are clear to her. Why not you?

There has been great success in reducing tooth decay and hypothyroidism through

the public health measures of fluoridating water and providing choice of iodized

salt (my preference is the free market method). Similarly, I advocate choice of

radiation supplement to promote survival (this topic). Choices could be:

1, HP monitored radon to 50-100 Bq(m-3), from uranium ore, expanding current

Health Mines type commercial activity,

2, Co 60 enriched bedsprings (to provide 1-10 cSv/yr @20 cm - spleen area, also

HP monitored).

I, too, "would appreciate someone to intervene and tell [John] what the point of

the message is."
