No significant increase in Cancers and beliefs held by people



One of my spouse's favorite TV shows in the "Pet Psychic" on the Animal

Planet channel.  I REALLY enjoy the part where she communicates talks to

animals that have crossed over. i.e., died.

Actually, if you follow the link to the article on *Cold Reading*

and note the last section you may get an insight in Ruth's concerns about DU

and the *religious* or *worldview* of people. Simply put, it did not matter

to the audience that the cold-reader did not believe that he had psychic

abilities; some of the audience essentially stated hope and the belief that

"we get the signs we need in the way we need them," made the reading real

for them.
