(Position located in Metropolis, IL). Salary

> Responsibilities

> * Insures compliance with NRC license and Part 40 requirements.

> * Knowledge of 10 CFR 40 & 10 CFR 20 requirements.

> * Interacts with NRC inspectors and regulatory personnel.

> * Leads and monitors special projects, personnel, work areas, and items

leaving radiological areas for control of

> exposures from internal and external sources.

> * Recommends appropriate personnel monitoring devices, protective

equipment, and working time for operators and

> other personnel working with sources of radiation.

> * Familiar with Industrial Hygiene requirements for chemical plant

processing uranium.

> * Serves as the Radiation Officer for Emergency Response Plan Team.

>

> REQUIREMENTS:

> * Thorough understanding of Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) license.

> * Regulatory compliance and procedure adherence.

> * Proactive problem solving to prevent regulatory violations.

> * Develop good working relationship and interaction with NRC

representatives.

> * Lead motivated knowledgeable team.

> * R.S.O. certification.

> * Attributes/Skills Required/Sought:

> * Working knowledge of Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations.

> * Leadership skills.

> * Technical writing skills.

> * Computer proficient (Microsoft Office).

> * Good presenter and communicator.

> * Five (5) or more years of Health Physics experience at a site regulated

by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission

> (NRC).

> * BS in Health Physics or Physical Sciences.
