RE: Radiation-Proof Uniform?

I have tested 0.25 mm Pb equivalent aprons with Cs-137 in my own lab and recorded 19% attenuation.  Most techs in fluoro rooms in hospitals do not wear 0.5 mm Pb equiv. aprons.  Furthermore in practice 0.25 mm Pb equivalent on a tech is usually about 95% - 99% effective when measured against the readings on a collar badge outside the apron on the same tech.  (This is effective against scatter) So I have to question the readings regarding Pb effectiveness on this web site.
