EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY AT NSSI IN HOUSTON, TX


NSSI is expanding it's operations to include the recovery of Tritium and Carbon 14 from solid, liquid, and gaseous feedstocks. 


NSSI offers an exciting employment opportunity in a newly constructed, state of the art Tritium facility. 


The individual will be required to operate the facility and the specialized equipment within the laboratory. The individual will assist management to expand the laboratories capabilities as new waste streams are identified. As the technical staff and level of business expands, there will be opportunities for personnel management and interface with clients. At this time this is an operational position only.


Applicants must hold a degree in Chemistry, physics, or engineering. Experience in chemical processing is essential. Experience with Tritium or carbon labeled materials is highly desirable but not essential. 


Applicants must demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude as the work will involve the operation, modification, and repair of process equipment, sensitive laboratory equipment, and electronic systems and must be capable of understanding the underlying phenomena involved in the work. Experience with vacuum equipment and systems is also very desirable. Good interpersonal skills will be required. 


Salary and benefits will be commensurate with applicable experience and education.
