I agree with you, but the issue is not the
REAL danger but the PERCEPTION of danger by
the media and the public. I used to tell anybody who would listen that the
ICRP/NCRP models and "limits" makes natural thorium a more hazardous material
than plutonium and it was in mantles (used to be!) and in welding
rods.
