About the Institute:



The Radiation Safety Institute assists Canadians with scientific and

technical advice and services on radiation safety concerns in the workplace,

in the environment, and in homes and schools.  Our clients are employers and

employees, public and private companies, unions and governments and members

of the public.



The Institute’s National Laboratories are located at Innovation Place

Research Park in Saskatoon.  Licensed by the Canadian Nuclear Safety

Commission (CNSC), they provide North America’s only personal alpha

dosimetry service to the Saskatchewan mining industry and to clients

elsewhere.  They also provide scientific and technical services to clients

across Canada.



About the job:



The Radiation Safety Institute provides an innovative, challenging, exciting

and professional work environment.  We’re looking for a Laboratory

Technologist to join our National Laboratories in Saskatoon.



At minimum, the successful candidate will possess a BSc in Physics or a

related discipline, have excellent written and oral communication skills, be

willing to work with a team, and have strong computer skills.



While not required, experience in dosimetry, radiation safety and radiation

measurement techniques would be an asset.  Salary for the position is

competitive, and there is a first-class benefits package.
