The maps are interesting but bear little light.



Take a look at skin cancer mortality, one might expect

to see certain populations like southern California

 and the plains are low compared to the lower

southeast US, were there is a thicker atmosphere (less

UV light) and less sun (more rainfall - less sun). 

Also, one would think people (myself included) want to

stay in the air conditioning.
