RE: Contamination Control Training

Title: Contamination Control Training
Ken -

You might want to consider fluorescent penetrant dyes used for nondestructive testing, which glow under a blacklight and look fairly bland under normal light.  If your plant has an in-house NDT department, they should have some; otherwise, talk to your NDT subcontractors or do a google search to reach suppliers.  The dyes are wet and while invisible, I imagine if you let the dye dry, it might work OK.

Subject: Contamination Control Training

Radsafers,
I am looking for products that can be used to assist with teaching contamination / decontamination control methods.  An ideal product would basically be invisible to the eye but detectable by black light or some other readily available process.  The training would primarily be for HP technicians and decontamination personnel.  Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Ken Jenkins, MS
