re:forensic science

Michael,

Radiographs are routinely taken of evidence for determination of product

liability. Coffee makers, toasters, and all types of electrical appliances

are radiographed to ensure the circuitry is intact and was not the source of

a fire's ignition. Outlets, home wiring circuits, and products that have

been destroyed by the fire are radiograhed for the same reason. We have

radiographed teddy bears for product tampering, the "Weeping Madonna" to see

if there was any internal reason for the phenomenon, and the Liberty Bell

after it had been attacked by a sledge hammer wielding assailant to

determine the extent of the damage.
