RE: forensic science



The University of Tennessee at Knoxville has an excellent program in

forensic pathology (including the infamous "body farm" for studying

biological decay rates).  I'm sure that X-rays are commonly used tools

for evaluating the nature of damage to bone, which may be diagnostic for

assault vs. accident.  You might call over there to get some specifics.
