Re: fission product source terms.....
Dave,
The "Health Physics an Radiological Health Handbook" had a good table of
equlibrium fission product in units of curies per Mw. In the 1984
edition, its in Table 11.1.

Please respond to Dave

I am searching for a good reference on fission product source terms for
reactor accident scenarios. Specifically I'm looking at nuclide source
terms for fission product releases that drive the off-site exposure,
ie...noble gasses and halogens. I'm being a bit lazy in not wanting to go
thru the calculations for all of the possibilities, I also am a firm
believer in not 're-inventing the wheel'. I know that using a code like
ORIGEN is the way to go but I'm not very proficient in using it.
Any help would be appreciated...
I'd also be very interested in a class on the ORIGEN code if anyone knows
of one they'd recommend.
Regards,
