SNM Inventory Question

Seabrook Station is interested in how other facilities meet the physical

inventory requirement of special nuclear material as defined in 10 CFR

74.4.

Specifically - Do you place your hands on each item every time or do you

take credit for your paperwork to says a given item is still where you

placed it?

We have chemistry standards that through use have ceased to become the nice

definable vials of liquid and are now several bags of paper wipes,

planchets, etc.. These bags are in a drum with other waste items awaiting

their turn for disposal.
