Re: Medis bias



Make no mistake that the anti-nukes WOULD advocate the elimination of nuclear medicine if they thought it was politically doable.  These are the same folks that seriously propose that all use of chlorine compounds must be eliminated for the sake of the planet.  It has been argued that the ban on DDT has cost thousands of lives; can you imagine the price in human suffering of a ban on chlorination disinfection? 



If nuclear medicine saves anybody, it is too high a price to pay for the risk to the planet in general (waste, potential reactor / accelerator accidents, etc.).  Would not the argument go something like that?
