The remarkable fact that there is 20% oxygen in the atmosphere of the Earth

is probably related to the large amount of fixed carbon ("fossil fuels") in

the Earth's crust. I worry about man's apparent attempt to convert all the

fossil fuels that can be found to carbon dioxide for energy uses. I think

we need to be cautious is burning all the oil and coal in the crust of the

Earth.



The true long-term source of our needed energy is in nuclear fission using

uranium in the plutonium fuel cycle.
