Raiders snatch nuclear material
NEW DELHI: Three metal cylinders containing radioactive material have been
stolen from a steel plant in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand, a
company official said yesterday.
Thieves stole three containers of the radioactive substance, cobalt-60, on
Friday from the privately owned Tata Steel factory in Jamshedpur, an
official said on condition of anonymity.
