The taxpayers are footing the bill for unreasonable
standards set by the EPA in the form of the Safe
Drinking Water Act. The EPA has set standards for
arsenic and numerous other contaminants that are so
low that many municipalities have to increase water
rates to cover the cost of upgrades. It is you and I
the taxpayer who bear the costs.
