As with ionizing radiation or UV, fluoride is present everywhere.

Legislation is used only to supplement deficient areas (<c 0.1 ppm) up to

about 1ppm and the fears at that level are like those for gamma at 1 -10

rem/year. There should be warning for places with > 15 ppm fluoride in

water, that it mottles teeth.



Dose is everything.
