The Cleveland Clinic Foundation has an immediate opening for a Medical Health Physicist.
Under the general supervision of the Radiation Safety Officer, supports the safe medical and research use of radioactive materials and ionizing radiation. Duties include facility audits, dosimetry, training, shielding design, emergency response, inventory control, waste disposal, x-ray safety, instrument calibrations, ALARA, etc.
Bachelor's Degree in a health physics or related field. Master's Degree preferred. Five years experience with 3 years in applied health physics preferably at a medical broad scope licensee.
The Cleveland Clinic is an academic medical center with a 1000 bed hospital and research institute. Radiation Safety staff includes RSO, Asst. RSO, 3 MHPs and 5 technologist.
