Gamma Spec - Rad Engineer Needed for Oak Ridge

Safety and Ecology Corporation is in the process of hiring Rad

Engineer/Health Physicists with Gamma Spec experience for Oak Ridge,

Tennessee.  



The successful candidate will need a strong background in HPGe gamma

spectroscopy and Low background proportional counters. The job will

require Insitu gamma spec field work and data reduction. Coordination of

the instrumentation personnel to accomplish the projects needs for Air

sampling analysis, Gamma spectroscopy, Insitu gamma spectroscopy, and

portable instrumentation. 



QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant technical or applied

activities. An advanced degree (1 year) or relevant certification (2

years) may be substituted in lieu of experience.

A BS degree in engineering, science or related field.

A DOE "L" or "Q" security clearance or the ability to obtain the same,

as required.



PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Nationally recognized certification preferred (e.g., NRRPT, CHP, CIH).
