Franz's scam letter posted
Radsafers,
This is off topic, but Franz brings up the question whether the RADSAFE server has been hacked to get a member list. Or, has someone joined the the RADSAFE list just to pick our email addresses off the bottom of our postings? I have changed my email posting at the end for that reason. I remember that Bjørn Cedervall use to spell out "at" instead of using the @ symbol to prevent such a theft. Perhaps we should resort to that on this list. I am concerned because in the past month, I notice that I have been getting this same type of scam/spam email with increasing frequency here at work. This is surprising because at work I only visit work related websites, HPS, NRC, EPRI, state and federal govenment, etc. or subscribe to other sites such as The Scientist, ChemWeb, etc. I have not seen this incease in scam/spam at home. Just wondering if the rest of you are seeing an increase in this type of scam/spam at work lately.
