Re: Tooth Fairy (Project) ....
Of dwarfs, elves, and other fairy tales.
Dear Radsafers;
Commoner and Rosenthal did a "tooth fairy" study all the way back in
the late 1950s. This foolishness goes back almost half a century! In
2001, Washington University in St. Louis found 85,000 baby teeth in
storage left over from the Commoner - Rosenthal study. The University
donated those teeth to the present reincarnation of the the tooth
fairy project.
Subjective opinion: Most of the negative critical remarks about this
whole fairy tale are correct. This is not science; it is sheer
political horse hockey and should only be addressed if needed to
explain to the lay public and to so-called politicians what a play on
nuclear fears it is. Otherwise, it is not worth any of your expert
qualifications to even fool with it or with the people who have chosen
to associate themselves with this fiction. It isn't even good science
fiction!!!
Cheers,
