smoke detector recycling question
I need some help in understanding the licensing requirements for ionization
type smoke detector manufacturers. Does anyone know if manufacturers are
required to accept their smoke detectors back for disposal as part of their
license? I have been told that manufacturers must accept detectors back,
but I am trying to determine if this is required or not.
I have read through 10 CFR 32, but do not know where else to look.
Please provide citations if possible.
Thanks for your help!
