Dear Radsafers:



You cannot even find out the sensitivity of some of the equipment being 

used by law enforcement at present.  It's secret for probably a good reason.



I just learned that the patient had been given only 10 mCi of 

I-131.  Instructions not to take public transportation for 2 days was dumb 

to begin with.  Was the physician board-certified in Nuclear Medicine, or 

someone with minimal training who was licensed?
