RE: Radiation Hormesis
I believe we ran this thread about a year and a half ago on statistical probability and age/time. Obviously, the more time you spend exposed to any possibility of an incident, the greater the possibility becomes of the incident happening no matter if it is cancer due to length of life of being hit by a car because you ran across the same remote country road enough times. All things good or bad have an increased probability of occurring with the passage of time. It is, however, inversely proportional if I remember correctly and has no apex junction. The theory of infinite halves negates the absoluteness of an event occurring eventually. The odds simply increase by smaller and smaller gains as the progression continues to infinity.

Dr. Luckey gave a presentation that I attended where
he claimed that the incidences of cancer were
increasing during the last century aecause we reducing
radiation exposure. My comment was if changes in life
expectancy considered. In 1900, the life expectancy
was 45 years. In 2000, it was 73 years. If you look
at the statistics, the risks of breast and prostate
cancers increase as one ages.
