I hope that Jaro was simply being facetious. I remember back in the 

mid 70s a sign in a power plant control room (to remain nameless), 

where after much intervenor action, stated "Let the bastards freeze 

in the dark!" I expect that Jaro was just venting. Of course, it's 

best to hear directly from the horse's mouth!
