Precautionary Principle
Today in our staff meeting someone mentioned the "Precautionary Principle" and that the concept is moving into the US from Europe. A quick web search turned up this:
>
> This is a group promoting the Precautionary Principle in the US. They're a coalition of environmental groups pushing to replace science based regulations with regulations based on someone's political agenda. The basis for their stance seems to be "prove that it doesn't" harm us. What are your experiences with this Principle?
