The Department of Therapeutic Radiology of Yale University invites

you to participate in the 14th International Conference on Solid

State Dosimetry, which will be held in New Haven, CT, June 27 - July

 2, 2004.

This conference is part of a series which began in 1965 at Stanford,

and is held in different countries every three years. Initially

devoted to luminescence dosimetry, the Solid State Dosimetry

conferences have become a traditional forum covering the current

variety of processes, methods and applications of radiation

measurements. This year, particular emphasis will be placed on the

most advanced techniques and methods for medical and health physics.

The deadline for abstract submission is February 10.

Manuscripts on the presentations delivered at the conference will be

collected and published in a refereed scientific journal. Further

details and abstract submission modalities can be found at

 http://www.ssd14.org/

The conference will be preceded by a Summer School entitled "Concepts

and Trends in Medical Dosimetry" and will consist of lectures on

basic topics in solid state dosimetry followed by lectures on

application in medical and health physics. The lectures will be given

by internationally recognized experts and will published as a special

volume distributed to the participants in the school.

We are hoping to see you in New Haven,
