netiquette

Periodic reminders of Radsafe netiquette are sometimes in order, for new

members, as reminders to old members, etc., so here goes:

1) Electronic "stuff" - please turn OFF your HTML coding, and turn OFF

your deliver and read notification when posting to the list. Plain text

messages are the best for all users to read, and for inclusion of

material in the digest.

2) When responding to previous posts, only include as much material from

previous messages as is really relevant to your response. If you are a

digest member, be SURE not to include the whole digest in your response.

3) Vigorous debate of controversial issues is encouraged, personal

attacks (on participants or others) is not permitted. Discussions shall

be limited to topics related to radiation safety. If the discussion

strays to politics or other topics not related to radiation safety, just

take it to private email. Respect the list, and respect each other.

4) Two word posts such as "me, too", "I agree", etc. are generally a

waste of bandwidth.

Have a great week!

Mike
