RE : Patients trigger border radiation alarms

Is it just me? I feel that we are missing THE important point about

terrorism, i.e causing TERROR ?

If the main goal for terrorists is to cause TERROR instead of giving DOSES,

there is many radioisotopes that can do the job...Of course, having portal

monitors is basically inducing a certain "due diligence" factor in the US

Gov mind, basically saying to their people: "We are doing something..."

My opinion on a very slippery topic...(Nation security)

How about if the terrorist spray innocent individuals

with a radionuclide like Tc-99m before they to an

airport? Do you think that would be disruptive

enough? Do you think it is necessary to have a large

amount of radioactive material, or just enough to

start "bells and whistles" sounding? That would put

fear in the minds of people.

You are limiting your thinking to just transporting

source material.
