RE: John Jerry editorial on Yucca Mountain
It seems that some people want this group to be an arena to launch their
political views. However, this type of discussion seems inappropriate for
the "radsafe" listserve. I'm sure there are several political listserves out
there where this type of discussion would be much more appropriate. This, of
course, is just my opinion.

In what little experience I have had with Kerry, he will change his position
with the direction of the political wind several times before he settles on
what everyone else wants him to think. Let's face it, the guy's about as
obsequious as they come.

Interesting note:
"Four years ago in a letter to Nevada Gov. Kenny
Guinn, then-candidate George W. Bush pledged he would
approve a nuclear waste repository at Yucca Mountain
only if it was scientifically proven to be safe and
secure. But before his first year in office was over,
President Bush changed his position and approved the
plan . . ."
I wonder what Al Gore would have done? I wonder what
John Kerry will do if elected?
