Location: Las Vegas



Description of Position: Performs ALARA/radiological engineering

evaluations of nuclear facility designs, processes and operations. Performs

dose assessments and radiation monitoring evaluations. Develops, prepares

and reviews technical reports and products. Stays abreast of current

regulatory requirements and applies to work processes.



Selection Criteria/Required Skills: Good working knowledge of NRC

regulations related to radiological safety required, 10CFR20 and 10CFR835.

CHP preferred. Relevant experience in applied radiological engineering with

an emphasis on ALARA functions pertinent to design, planning and

operations. Strong nuclear operational experience preferred. Demonstrated

skills in researching and preparing technical products. Good computer

skills with Microsoft Word, Excel. Strong communication skills and ability

to interface with customers and all levels of personnel. Ability to work

independently with minimum supervision, meet schedules and deadlines.

Minimum of 13 years related experience required.
