Radiation exposure in Taiwan - Hormesis?

A paper earlier this year in J Am Phys Surg (2004;9;6-10) showed

apparent beneficial effects of low doses in a Taiwanese population

who had been accidentally exposed over many years by radioactivity

in building materials. I understand that a Health Physics Society

lobby had tried to get financial support so that this study could be

put on a better epidemiological basis. Does anyone know if this has

been successful?

Many thanks
