Job Opportunity at GE Nuclear



GE Nuclear is in the process of moving their engineering activities from San

Jose, CA, to Wilmington, NC.  In conjunction with that move GE is looking to

hire three new engineers in the radiological/HP field in Wilmington.  If

Job Qualifications (all or in part):



Core and vessel internals neutron flux and fluence analysis - primary code

DORT/TORT

Hotcell and cask criticality and dose calculations - primary code MCNP

In-plant radiation shielding - primary code QAD/MCNP

General radiological analysis, plant inventories (ORIGEN), dose rates,

environmental qualification, meteorology, radiation instrumentation design

and analysis.

General radiological analysis for licensing application - a good

understanding and ability to apply analysis to all NRC radiological

regulatory guides, standard review plans, procedures, and codes.
