Political "science"?

The Boston Globe reported this morning that it's favorite candidate 

would "oppose a nuclear repository at Yucca Mountain unless scientific 

studies guaranteed the safety and health of people in this fast growing 

area."



I didn't think scientific studies could do that, and I wasn't aware that 

Yucca Mountain was already a residential area.
