Re: LSC Standards

Hi all,

It seems to me that I bought Cl36 and Am241 LSC standards from Packard

several years ago. They sold them for calibrating their alpha/beta

discrimination on their LSCs. Once upon a time I made some alpha

"standards" for myself from standard solutions. I don't recommend that route

though, as the scintillation fluid very slowly evaporated. The sources ended

up being pretty useless over the period of about a year.

know whether anyone routinely manufactures, say, Cl-36, or Sr-90 standards
