Radiological Engineering Positions Available in MA & NY
Growing Environmental and Radiological Environmental Remediation Firm
looking for a Radiological Engineer or Environmental Engineer/Scientist
for employment in our Needham, Massachusetts and Middletown, New York
offices. The qualified candidate will assist clients in planning and
executing site characterization and remediation projects, interfacing
with federal and state regulators, and managing existing NRC-licensed
and governmental work with chemical and radioactive materials.
Minimum requirements include a BS degree in Health Physics,
Environmental/Civil/Chemical Engineering, Geology, or other closely
related field plus a minimum of 2 years experience, preferably in
environmental or industrial settings. Candidates with advanced degrees,
professional certifications (e.g., CHP, PE, PG, NRRPT, CHMM, etc.) and
extensive work experience are encouraged to apply.
Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential. Writing
experience should encompass work plans, quality assurance plans, project
closure reports, or comparable documents. Applicant should be adept with
handheld and computer-based instrumentation and have the ability to
quickly learn radiological fundamentals. Extensive travel will likely
be required.
